Role Profile:

Looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Analytics team in the Americas.

This is an exciting opportunity that requires a lot of interaction with internal and external business partners, and building the right solutions that empower the business teams in taking better decisions. In a fast paced environment, you will have an opportunity to work with lot of tools and technologies, and will be challenged to think outside the box.

 

We are looking for a problem solver and an innovative thinker, to work alongside a lean and agile team of analysts and architects.

Developing sound functional and systems knowledge, support the creation of increased business intelligence and analytics capabilities across the organization and across multiple data sources

 

Primary responsibilities

 

Partner with end users to understand business challenges, explore and analyze a variety of data sets to provide the right solutions.

 

Develop a fundamental understanding of cross-functional business processes (ERP and other) to support reporting initiatives.

 

Create reports, dashboards, and analysis that cater to the needs of different levels of users in various business functions.

 

Collaboration with the Director of Business Intelligence and the Americas IT Director, to help influence analytics strategy, developing requirements, and designing solutions.

 

Provide support to the executive team by building summaries, management reporting, and what-if analysis.

 

Ownership, enhancements, and maintenance of the existing reporting portfolio, schedules and documentation.

 

Educating & Training the user community on Business Objects and Analytics.

 

Collaborate with global, virtual teams, be able to work on a flexible schedule and juggle multiple priorities.

 

Technical Skills – Required

Extensive working experience with Business Objects Suite (Webi, IDT, CMC)

Experience in Tableau, building advanced analytics and managing Tableau Online

Advanced knowledge of SQL is needed

Working experience or knowledge SAP ERP and its modules is desired

Experience in working with Snowflake is desired

Prior working experience with SAP HANA, and modeling would be a plus

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

Experience: 8+ years

 

Working Conditions

This position will be an in-office environment with occasional project-based travel required.

Travel requirement - 20% domestic, international trips possible

Physical demands - Job requires both sitting and standing. Excellent vision, hearing, speech, and motor skills are required to perform essential functions of the job.
