Overview

Recruiting for a remote direct hire RPA/UIPath Certified hands on RPA Technical Program Manager/Developer for our healthcare client.

 

You will be responsible for building an RPA/Intelligent Automation COE as well as hands on RPA development!

 

Salary around $150k.

Intelligent Automation Program Manager

 

Summary:

The Intelligent Automation (IA) Lead/ Program Manager is responsible for the coordination of the Automation team and all related activities.

 

This team is responsible for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and related technologies.

 

Activities include managing the delivery life cycle of IA solutions by aligning key upstream and downstream stakeholders, developing, and executing automation strategy, driving innovation by selecting the right technologies, and championing IA across the enterprise.

 

The IA Lead will drive the IA COE and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Deployment Project team, coordinating larger scale RPA implementations and smaller projects in parallel.

 

This role will facilitate the handover from implementation analysts to operations and provide post Go-Live support.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Intelligent Automation team
  • Manage direct or "dotted line" reports on Intelligent Automation team
  • Chair Intelligent Automation executive leadership meetings & provide updates on executive leadership team (ELT) meetings
  • Engage with business partners to drive opportunity generation, build business roadmaps, and prioritize ideas and solution implementations
  • Responsible for developing / executing IA strategy including change / talent management strategy and obtaining executive buy-in
  • Serve as Intelligent Automation SME and provide knowledge for successful deployment of Intelligent Automation methodology
  • Gain familiarity with other enterprise applications (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, CPQ, DocuSign) & the platform itself -- help identify when to bring in stakeholders responsible for other systems
  • Be aware of current and future market and industry trends both inside and outside of the Intelligent Automation space
  • Manage project/program risk, reporting, and governance
  • Manage program financials and resources to support projects and functions
  • Lead, motivate, and coach Intelligent Automation Team members
  • Champions Intelligent Automation
  • Maintain accountability for the day-to-day management of the IA team
  • Cultivate new opportunities across the organization and manage the backlog to ensure that all opportunities are clearly vetted before bringing into the COE
  • Maintain and percolate methodology that enforces standards, guidelines, and leading practices, support automation efforts across the enterprise
  • Track and maximize value & ROI from automation program
  • Coordinate with other teams (e.g., application & infrastructure teams) to resolve issues, address concerns, & drive business results

 

Education:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position

 

Preferred:

  • Master's degree related to computer science or business technology

 

Experience:

Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT implementation or project management
  • Strong preference for experience in large IT enterprise deployments

 

Preferred:

  • Computer Science or business technology background preferred
  • Previous service delivery experience is a strong plus
  • 4+ years hands-on RPA experience

 

Licenses/Certifications:

 

Required:

  • Certification in UiPath or Microsoft Power Apps/Automate

Preferred:

  • PMP/Agile certification or agile approach experience is favorable

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Demonstrable experience in deployments involving RPA, ERP, CRM, EPM, etc.
  • Familiarity with RPA Vendors such as UiPath, Blue Prism, and Microsoft
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and lead diverse groups to achieve results and sustain momentum
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and with various audiences
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks, plans, and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to drive action and evaluate and challenge the status quo
  • Knowledge in project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of UiPath and/or Power Automate structure and understanding of how to leverage the tools to meet complex process requirements
  • Knowledge of RPA best practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test, to integration to production deployment
  • Ability to partner with users in evaluating and chartering automation opportunities
  • Ability to lead various automation project(s) through its life cycle to completion confirming various stages such as process assessment, preparations, documentation, development, testing, and go live/production
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and translate ideas to stakeholders, end users, and organizational leadership with varying levels of knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to produce estimates and complex deployment plans for IA tool sets and functionality
  • Ability to demonstrate independent, critical, and proactive thinking in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking with strong analytical and technical skills
