We're looking for a technical lead who has consistently demonstrated the ability to develop high level technical designs, produce great code and can work across various disciplines to achieve product goals.

 

Salary around $130k.

Job Description

Summary:

We're looking for a technical lead who has consistently demonstrated the ability to develop high level technical designs, produce great code and can work across various disciplines to achieve product goals.

In this role, you'll work closely with a talented team to tackle technical challenges to support our Population Health Solution, an analytics tool used by our clients to make better decisions on their patient population.

 

You'll get the opportunity to design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications. This includes configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with analysts and designers in the development, maintenance and initiation of new software programs and applications in an agile environment
  • Work cross-functionally to determine the best course of action to support the overall success of our product.
  • Be open in developing an awareness of programming and design alternatives. Help direct and participate in research of emerging software development tools, design patterns and standards.
  • Interact regularly with cross-functional leaders and team members to maintain an open, transparent environment
  • Research, document, and implement program requirements and specifications.
  • Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
  • Work closely with various technical disciplines in delivery of solutions. These include Software Developers, Software QA Engineers, Business Analysts, Requirement Engineers, Infrastructure Engineers, Technical Support as well as Clinical Staff
  • As needed, run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
  • Administer diagnostic analysis of test results and deliver solutions to critical areas.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Computer Science or related field

 

Experience:

  • 5+ yearsʼ experience in application development
  • Subject matter expert in area of responsibility or working knowledge of several technical areas.
  • Applies advanced technical principles to complete somewhat complex tasks.
  • Provides input on group's technical direction.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience architecting, building, testing, and operating AWS-native distributed systems
  • Experience using CI/CD Pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software . Native AWS DevOps Tooling (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodeBuild) preferred
  • Experience writing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). AWS CloudFormation preferred
  • Strong knowledge in frontend development using javascript framework (Angular, Vue, or react) & HTML/CSS
  • Knowledge of backend development using Java, NodeJS & databases (Postgres, MySQL or Mongo)
  • Ability to champion and lead technical initiatives
