Urgent need. Three (3) to Six (6) months in duration. Temp-to-hire. $82K – $120K depending on experience.  Rochester based candidates please.


Title: Current Product Software Engineer




  • The ideal candidate is a C# software engineer who enjoys investigating complex problems and solving them creatively.
  • Application development team writes software for an industry leading Kiosk product.
  • Kiosks are in retail locations around the world and help consumers bring their pictures to life with workflows to turn their digital and printed images into a huge variety of photo gift products. 
  • Seeking a self-motivated, well-rounded Software Engineer with at least 5 years industry C# experience, to provide current product engineering support for Photo Kiosk Systems, troubleshooting and addressing customer issues. 
  • This position is based in Rochester, NY. The team works in a hybrid work environment (currently a day/week at the office).
  • Because troubleshooting the system often requires “hands-on” interaction, this is not a remote work opportunity.



  • Provide Current Product support for Photo Kiosk Systems. 
  • Work independently as well as participate in multifunctional project teams that work through triage, root cause analysis, solution, testing, justification, implementation and deployment of improvements as well as follow-up verification activities. 
  • Manage incident reports for related work activities.



  • Visual C# Ability to read and update Visual C++ 
  • Basic knowledge of SQL 
  • Experience in software debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis 
  • Broad understanding of computer systems and related hardware integration 
  • Object-oriented programming experience 
  • Experience with Windows 10 
  • Experience with Windows Event Viewer and Registry 
  • Must be highly self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, be able to multi-task effectively and prioritize project work 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills



  • Device driver experience 
  • Network experience 
  • Working knowledge of Windows scripting (e.g. DOS batch files, PowerShell) 
  • Working knowledge of JIRA Knowledge of Agile methodologies 
  • Experience with photo kiosks



  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree 5+ yrs industry experience
