Fulltime opportunity for a CNC Machinists (Lathes) in Geneva

 

CNC Machinists/Programmer

 

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machines, performing machining tasks, conducting quality control checks, and maintaining machinery to ensure optimal performance.

 

The role involves working  mostly on CNC lathes, some mills and turning, custom prototyping, and production set up for larger volume applications.


Qualifications

 

  • Machine Operation and Machining skills
  • CNC Lathe expertise
  • Quality Control proficiency
  • Knowledge of machinery maintenance
  • Experience in machining parts to meet specifications
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Relevant technical education or certifications
  • Understand the overall functions of the lathes, drills and milling equipment
  • Set up and maintain manufacturing and production machines 
  • Programming per the specifications of the job
  • Reading blueprints, schematics and other documentation 
  • Writing and maintaining inspection as well as programming logs as well as manuals
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools and equipment like gauges, calipers, indicators, micrometers, scales, and other products required for completing the overall manufacturing of machine parts and tools.
